We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. f. Positions the patients and equipment to capture the correct area and produce clear images.
g. Monitors the patients to ensure their safety during the imaging procedures.
h. Ensures and monitors equipment calibration (PMS) to ensure usability of machines to produce good and clear images that Radiologists can interpret accurately. This includes proper sterilization and storage of the equipment and timely reporting of any equipment failures.
i. Check if any previous results are available or obtain outside film for comparison.
j. Logs and organizes image results, develops films and envelopes, updates case number in the CIMS information system, assists and coordinates with Radiologists for the interpretation of the radiograph results, and consults with Radiologists to determine if other images need to be taken.
k. Maintains up to date knowledge of current radiology practices.
l. Inventory and monitoring of various supplies.
m. Perform quality control / validation (in CIMS) of all results before releasing results to patients.
n. Sorting and releasing of results - Pick Up / Send Out / Email.
o. Release sorted Pick Up / Send Out results to Releasing Department and email results to patients if requested.
p. Prepare requirements for DOH inspection and compliance.
